Testing Times CET The CET comprises of multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical /Abstract Reasoning. In all there would be 200 questions to be answered in a total time of two and a half hours.(i.e. 150 mins. ) This year , the CET written test top score was 162/200. Calls for GD and PI were given to all candidates scoring 70/200 and above. The highest marks after GD and PI this year were 190/240. Bajaj cut-off was 171/240 and not all candidates with that total could get through. After accounting for all reservations , no. of seats left for candidates in the OPEN category for Mumbai university students is 42 . (25 - free & 17 - payment ) Distribution of total marks : The following will be the head-wise distribution of the total marks of 240 , on the basis of which the final University wise / Category wise /State level merit lists will be drawn. FREE SEATS AND PAYMENT SEATS: In all Government, Government Aided , unaided Institutions including University Departments , 50% seats of the sanctioned intake capacity will be free seats and the rest 50% will be payment seats. For the Mumbai University , tuition fees for seats are : Free : Rs. 5,000/- Payment : Rs .15,000/- ( Likely to be revised this year ) Eligibility rules are clearly mentioned in the information brochure.
